That was my thinking as I entered the Frontier Barber Shop on Wednesday, on the eve of Thanksgiving. It was a den of testosterone and blank stares that greeted me upon entering this man cave adorned with donated memorabilia on the walls from thoughtful benefactors over the past 30-something years. After introductions and explanations, it still appeared the men waiting for haircuts were reluctant to share their names with a reporter, let alone spout feelings related to traditional turkey day celebrating. Fred Barraco, the owner and chief barber for 25 years, flashed a warm smile and offered a bit of coaxing to the guys waiting for new 'dos.
